Parenting Guidance for Professionals and Parents

Parenting is all about relationships—sometimes challenging, always full of opportunities. There are times when caregivers feel uncertain, have questions, or are seeking for new approaches. In my counseling sessions, I offer a safe and supportive space to explore concerns, identify strengths, and develop practical, empowering strategies.

My Approach

  • Resource-Oriented: Focusing on your strengths as a caregiver, we explore the opportunities within challenging situations and how to guide them constructively.
  • Empowerment: I help you regain confidence in your abilities, overcome feelings of helplessness, and develop effective strategies for interaction.
  • Individual Psychology: Drawing on Adlerian principles, we examine the values and norms, and assumptions guiding your actions and consciously shape relationship patterns to foster growth.
  • Body-Centered: Emotions and attitudes are expressed through the body. Through body-centered techniques, you learn to recognize and adjust these patterns consciously.

Who the Counseling is For

  • Parents, foster parents, grandparents: Who want to support their (grand)child’s development while balancing their own needs.
  • Teachers seeking guidance: For challenges with students, parents, or the classroom, or for temporary coaching.
  • Educators aiming to grow within a team: Who want to consciously shape their role.
  • Professionals in educational or counseling settings: Who want to reflect on and strengthen their role.

Topics We Explore

  • Navigating parenting and everyday family life
  • Handling conflicts and emotions with confidence
  • Discovering strengths in your child—and in yourself
  • Building stronger relationships and better communication
  • Managing stress and prioritizing self-care

Sessions

Typically, 10 to 20 sessions of 90 to 120 minutes work best, depending on the topic. For urgent situations, we start with weekly sessions, later transitioning to every two weeks. The final 3–5 sessions focus on reflection and consolidation, scheduled monthly to ensure lasting progress.
