There are phases in life when we feel overwhelmed, discouraged, or internally blocked. The reasons for this can be varied:
In such situations, it can be relieving to have a safe and supportive space to turn to.
My psychological counseling follows a four-step plan:
This approach creates an integrated form of counseling that includes thinking, feeling, and bodily experience. We work in a circular, process- and solution-oriented way.
Individual Psychology, developed by Alfred Adler, views the person as a unique, social being with a need for belonging and meaning. It helps to recognize limiting beliefs, adopt new perspectives, and consciously use your own abilities. A central element is focusing on your resources: what strengthens you and what gives your life meaning and direction?
Our body is an important key to understanding and processing inner (often unconscious) processes. In body-centered psychology, the focus is on perceiving and working with the body’s signals. Exercises in breath and body awareness help regulate stress, release inner tension, and reconnect with yourself. In this way, mind, heart, and body come together to create a holistic experience.
For individual or couples counseling, depending on the topic, 15 to 20 sessions of 90 minutes each are recommended. In acute situations, weekly sessions are initially suggested, which are later continued every two weeks. The last three sessions are focused on consolidation and implementation in everyday life and are scheduled on a monthly basis.
I offer psychological counseling in three languages:
